2006/2007 TahitiPetey XBoard Videos
Back in the summer of 2006, when I first got involved with the manufacturer of the XBoard, we agreed to buy the first 15,000 units produced off their assembly line, and private brand them as the TahitiPetey XBoard - a huge mistake in hindsight. Our goal was not only to build the market for this cool new watercraft, but also launch an XBoard Pro Tour, a magazine and global rental business.
The XBoard, despite the issues that surfaced in late 2007, offered us lots of potential, as this local Las Vegas newspaper article http://www.viewnews.com/2007/VIEW-Mar-02-Fri-2007/Summerlin/10791722.html shares. I attempted to work with the new management of Encompass in hopes of resolving the past issues and even working together again to bring this product to market in 2010, but that effort proved unsucessful. NEVADA's actions caused all those involved a huge loss of opportunity.
The XBoard has a 407cc rotary engine that drives a jet pump.
